X Post to Image.
Paste a link to any post on X (Twitter). Get a clean picture of it, photos and quoted post included, to share anywhere else.
Why this exists
Screenshots of posts come out cropped, cluttered and blurry. This draws the post itself, with its photos and quoted post, at twice screen resolution on a clean background.
Made to share
Square and 4:5 for Instagram and LinkedIn, 16:9 for slides, or just the card on a transparent background. Light or dark card, counts on or off.
Stays in your browser
The picture is drawn on your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored, and the post is read through a public service, so no X account is needed.
How to turn an X post into an image
- On X or Twitter, open the post and copy its link.
- Paste the link into the box above and press Make image.
- Pick a background, a light or dark card, a size, and whether to show likes and reposts.
- Press Download PNG, or Copy image to paste it straight into a post, a slide or a chat.

Questions
How do I screenshot a tweet without the clutter?
Paste the post link here instead of taking a screenshot. You get only the post, on a clean background, at twice screen resolution, without buttons, ads or the rest of the timeline.
Does it keep photos and quoted posts?
Yes. Up to four photos are laid out the way X shows them, a video shows its cover frame, and a quoted post appears inside the card.
Which sizes can I make?
Fit wraps the post with an even border. Square (1080×1080) and 4:5 (1080×1350) suit Instagram and LinkedIn, and 16:9 (1600×900) suits slides and YouTube. Choose None as the background for just the card on a transparent PNG.
Are the likes and views up to date?
They’re read from X when you make the image and can be up to five minutes old. Turn off likes and reposts if you’d rather not show them; the views stay next to the date, as on X.
Do I need an X account?
No. Posts are read through a public service, so there’s no signup and no X login. Posts from private accounts can’t be read.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account and no watermark beyond a small x-toolkit.app under the card.
